Ford

Today former President Gerald Ford passed away. Although his death will not nearly be as high profile as the passing of Reagan a while back, it should be. For Reagan was vastly overated while Ford was vastly underated. Ford entered office facing one of the biggest crises in American history, and was willing to go against popular opinion and pardoned Nixon, which was the right move to get pass the shadow of the Nixon years. The Pardon cost Ford his Presidency, but allowed the office to retern to its proper function of running the country. RIP Gerald R. Ford, a good man and an underated President.
